NJC Greenlink Club’s collaboration with North-West CDC began in 2007 at the invitation of Mayor Teo Ho Pin, an NJC-Alumnus. NJC was in the NWCDC district then and was already known to be actively working in the area of nature conservation. Since then, this has become an important feature of Greenlink Club’s work, working closely with NWCDC grassroots personnel to organise and carry out this annual CIP conducted on identified Saturdays or Sundays among NWCDC households over 3-5 months. NJC has continued with collaboration with NWCDC even though the College is now part of the Central CDC. Announcements about details of and registration for the year’s Energy Audit Programme will be posted in this blog by February or March.
The aims of the Energy Audit are
- to educate the public of the need to conserve natural resources, and
- to provide a platform for youth to lead in conservation action.
Greenlink welcomes JH3 – SH2 students to register for this meaningful green CIP.
